Family History

The Museum now has internet access to the family history site ‘Ancestry’. We have also built up vast amounts of information on local families and businesses.  Many visitors  come from as far away as America and Australia searching for information about their family’s past. Our archive collections are available for visitors to examine the information for themselves in the museum. If you are unable to visit , a member of staff will locate any information which can then be forwarded to you for a donation.

Photographs

The museum regularly receives requests for photographs. We are able to supply copies (not originals) from most of our collections, sizes and prices are available on request.

Books and Shop Supplies.

The museum is willing to post merchandise ordered from the shop, the cost of postage will vary according to the item.
